Thanks Jessica for your brilliance as ever. Makes sense to me (on skimming) because we, and all else, are frequencies and vibrations. Coincidentally I've been sea-swimming a lot lately; very close to hypothermia. No neoprene insulation. Over 9mins today in 8 degrees C, in a very cold North wind. The salt-water is incredibly energizing and naturally healing. Wim Hof knows what he's talking about. So also Joe Dispenza. Love, gratitude, peace, to you, and all (even the psychopaths - because anger and hate are very low frequencies).
So, basically, we’re already there … the mRNA shot could do #1, mRNA sprays combined with radiation from satellites could do #2, and cellphones or streetlights could do #3?
It would be so easy for them to control us and read our minds and direct us without our consent. Glad to have this information, but worried for humanity depending on who has the power to exploit this technology.
Sobering and neither far off nor far out. It isn’t a brand new idea though. One can stimulate the brain by shining light into it with a handheld device. Years ago David Asprey commented that he used a hand-held device to shine light (ultraviolet?) at his occipital lobe, I think, in order to stimulate his brain and write his book more quickly.
I just read about a cap/woolen knit hat/beanie that can be worn block emfs that distort healthy brain waves. That is effective for some people. But it’s really a shame we have to do that anyway. If I had a choice, I would get rid of any wireless emfs.
This only JUST arrived, therefore I've only scanned it. I "had to" comment immediately though because it looks fascinating! I love biology--and eyes are easier for me to relate to than biochemicals. That is not to say that biochemistry and the vast range of other topics you introduce are not eagerly received. I love have my horizons broadened and deepened through your substack and videos. Thank you!
Ah, the eyes are the introduction, not the topic. Knowledge can be, as is, abused. On the invigorating aspect are the potential medical applications such as those you thought years ago. If my thinking is on the right track, this seems to explain some of the psychophysiology of color. If someone knows this is a wrong track please let me know.
It would help (help me, at least) if both Jessica and Commenters are always very clear and specific as to how "they" have "introduced these genes into us". Repeatedly as we uninformed need, throughout an article or comment.
This is not my area of expertise (!!!), but I try to follow the trains of thought.
Light striking upon bacteria, with a follow-on effect, seems to me somewhat similar to light striking our (humans' ) bare skin and, at shallow depth, setting in motion the production of Vitamin D (YAY). No ?
Well, the video describes the effect on neurons and "nerve cells"... and those are hard to access with light as they are not exposed... A frog tissue it is likely more transparent than a human body, but I would be inclined to think that it is not doable for humans, at least not as-described.
A few mRNA injections down the way - who knows? We might start laying eggs, like our "reptilian overlords" :P...
Ahhh but please tell us how you are already there, knowing what you do from working on HIV. Isn’t that, for example, a lentivirus path to … human.., immune-metabolic modulation (control)? Electrogenic effects are always related to magnetic potential and light energy.
So why should we care about Grok in this? What’s the point… unless we need an excuse to constrain the content of our writing on topics of dual use tech.
On the Grok front, I am astounded at the depth and breadth of science it can return if you ask it something with meaningful context. It’s also surprisingly explicit about the boundaries for discussions about dualities in tech. Ask it a flippant question and, depending on the setting you use, it gives an appropriately flip, rude, supposedly sexy etc. answer. It’s playful when questions seem ‘playful’, mainstream or intentionally diffuse and speculative.
Do these proteins exist in mammals (and any circadian rhythm critters) at all? I wouldn't be surprised if we bipeds have some natively. I wonder if melanin is chemically similar in any way.
This video is broad, great for context, long - but melanin is woven through this great talk - because it is central to the mechanism that is being hijacked:
This is a presentation by Dr Jack Kruse, a Neurosurgeon and then some, to a chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation. He does address cataracts as well contact lenses, but I can't remember how far in. However, I think the whole lecture is beneficial to set the context. Forget Street light; what about all internal lighting everywhere, alongside our lives being lived inside 90% of the time, what about every device you interact with? That does not need to be the case, all of these technologies could be full spectrum. Why aren't they?
I’m still at the ‘light behaves as both a particle and a wave’ conundrum. Now you’re saying they can use it to switch my receptors on and off? Good grief, we are doomed as a species.

😉Getting there. Not quite though- optogenics is not limited to bacteria, and the when you consider we are more bacteria than human.... Go look at photonics with optogenics in mind.😉
If you want to understsnd how i KNOW that we are there NOW, technologically speaking in being able to control the brain without implants, etc- Go look up MELANOPSIN. We are there kids. We have actually been there for about 20+yrs. We are creatures OF light!
We actually have melanopsin in lots of places, we are le a bring more each day. Light stimulation can occur by sticking a red light up your nose- the brain is very close there, and all the "sensors" are on the "outside" of the brain not deep inside. Partially why BBB is there- to help with electrical conductivity through the CFS. So we can influence our brains very easily through light, particularly when we know that certain UV frequencies can penetrate up to 8cm AND through bone.😉 See Beckers work.
Those smart lights- operate off light entering the eye....
Ps Wim hoff, scrambles the physiology but the idea he is promoting is actually sound. Look at POM-C, melanopsin, and the leptinmelanocortin pathway in us.😉
Write an article that I can read to support your "know". We ARE creatures of light, but this article I wrote is about specific opsin (ie: channelrhodopsin) genes introduced synthetically that are controlled by targeted and focused wavelengths of light (light at specific wavelengths (470 nm blue for ChR2, 590 nm orange for NpHR) must reach the modified neurons with enough intensity (5–20 mW/mm²)).
My apologies Jess, if you felt I'd hijacked your intended message. I think we may differ in our assessment of priorities when it comes to current synthetics within the human systems. Especially given the state of current bloods globally, and the levels of nanoparticulates meaning, there are essentially no non-synthetics anymore.😐 However, your article also shows that impacts of light on organisms synthetic or otherwise, gives us direction as to solving the current SNAFU. But if this cheeky Puck did offend, well not my intention, and I'll not reoffend....much.😉🤣
In all honesty, I'm really hoping I DONT need to start writing here, I've been hoping and avoiding that since I joined Substack in 2021, because there are plenty of peeps far more knowledgeable than I that actually WANT to write. This was only ever a last resort back up JIC plan to make sure that information got out. Now, there's so much noise here, it's about making sure that the important stuff doesn't get drowned out😉
Nice. Are you aware of the work of Dr Jack Kruse? If not, here's a great starter to give you an overview of this incredibly broadly active character.

almost
Very good 😊 but on the flip side very potentially bad.
Good read though thanks 🙏 Jess!

Scary thought. Also add 5G, 6G etc. vibrations. Hmm.

Yes, i guess there are tradeoffs.
I read this with my blue backlit handheld device. 470 nm blue wavelength light rules! Kidding. Not kidding.
Came to the comments to say this.

"Now if you’re wondering if they’re already controlling our neurons by having introduced these genes into us I don’t have an answer for you. "
Do you have a hole in your head so that the light can get through? No? Then they don't! Yet...
Grok suggested making our skulls transparent. Eek.
... and we thought that tinfoil hats were stupid :P...
Nasal "holes" could go straight up to the brain, couldn't they?

One word: YIKES!
These old bodies are so full of incredible designs! I’m constantly amazed!
Vernor Vinge.
It's ALL heading towards
The Singularity
End of mankind
The singularity doesn't necessarily mean our end.
To quote REM “…end as we know it.” But I don’t feel fine.
Well, we disagree on that one!

Yep im very familiar with his colourful style and work.😉
He's on the money though and glad to see people are paying attention.😉
His more recent discussions are well worth a listen or two🤗
You could write a movie on this subject and the possibilities of optigenetics.
Somehow this seems frightening.
Agreed.
