Thank you for sharing Jessica. As usual, gorgeous photography and all in such a good cause. We're all blessed to have a treasure such as you on our side. Huggies........
I often went to Barcelona on business and Barcelona remains one of my favourite European Cities ( I just wanted to give it a plug as a very liveable European City with beaches on hand and skiing close by!)
But Spain in general is a beautiful, historic and under-appreciated country which is known mostly for its Southern beaches). And a very large country. When my kids were young, as part of a RTW trip, we spent 2 weeks there on what the family still refer to as "The OLD Spain" holiday. We flew in from Frankfurt to Barcelona, spent a few days there in the wonderful Arts Hotel then picked up a large SUV and drove to Cuenca, Zaragoza, Madrid, Seville, Granada (Alhambra) and if you want to stay in the Parador or other close Hotels at a busy time, book a year in advance) and then flew back to Frankfurt from Malaga. I mention this because it's an ITX that was recommended to me by Spanish friends and I would recommend it to others without reservation. But it's a lot of driving - it IS a very large country.
Hi Jessica from a Yupik Village in Alaska. I appreciate traveling vicariously with you to historic locations and meeting great thinkers. I sort of lost touch with Jeffery from some years ago when he launched an internet concept of freedom thinking association. I gifted a subscription to another spicy lady who I’m sure you would like, Amy Alcon, the “Advice Goddess” and author of “I see rude people”.
Amy, a great mind and Jeffrey a brilliant one also. Then there’s You!Thank goodness for this internet!
I once spent 19 hours in an airport at Winnipeg and that was so long ago when my flight landed I watched as the taxi drivers fought over my luggage and tool box which weighed over a hundred pounds. That was the test and I waited for someone strong enough to lift it. The trip home by taxi was a bit over 200 miles and the fare then was $95.00 which was cheap. The driver was a Greek, and we had no snaggle toothed taxi drivers then. He was thrilled with a hundred dollar bill. Our conversation all the way was on homosexuality and he condemned it strongly. The place I worked at was north of Thompson (Gillam) and end of August the temperatures were low enough to leave a skim of ice on the mud puddles. I was only there two weeks when a big Spaniard attacked me with a number 4 steel reinforcing rod. (1/2 inch) but he stopped when I swung with my carpenter's hatchet and stopped two inches from his forehead. Self defense of course which is allowed in the CCC.
That was the end of the altercation but I got tired of showering with my back to the wall, sitting in the dining area with my back to the wall and looking behind me all the time, He was a psycho and I was warned by my working buddy Louie Furtak so I purposely got fired for insulting the foreman Antonio Piotto and flew out of Gillam.
I fell asleep at the airport waiting for a flight to Toronto and awoke to an RCMP officer demanding my identification. I accommodated him which I would not have done with the corrupt and criminal OPP and he asked to hear my story.
Life is exciting. I have always opposed corruption and evil and that is all I have to say except I admire women like Dr. J, Celia and others who are more personally in my life. I find there are some real fighters as well to be found in the pro life movement.
I have never seen insanity in my entire existence to the extent it exists today when everything is corrupt.
Dr. J needs to relax and rest as her efforts are considerable against lies and liars.
I have never critiqued or criticized anything you've written but really ... I can't let this go: I believe that the grammatically correct use of 'yous' (regardless of orients) should always be followed by 'guys' ie. 'YOUS GUYS ... but of course you knew that and were being a rebel!
Thank you so much for sharing, so I also compassionate for science research and details. So if someone is gluten intolerant can they tolerate or eat the fresh breads in Spain? Hopefully that's where those pictures were from❤️ being disabled with Long-Haul I have a lot of time to read and listen to research and I'm doing more of a deep dive into nutrition for humans and animals utilizing Dr. Judy Morgan DMV and Dr. Ken Berry as cornerstones because of the research and the practical application of a real human diet and feline/canine diet raw. Also delving into more functional and integrative medicine approaches with repurpose drugs/or supplement herbs when possible❤️ absolutely love your deep dive into all of the posts that you do. Regardless thank you for everything that you do, and always praying for you, your colleagues, your friends and family❤️
Dang! Wish I could have been there too. :) I love it that you include photos of your experience, Jess. You may be scientific on a level that I don't understand--but you have a little girl's heart and enthusiasm for life that I just love. :)))
Brownstone and Jeffrey Tucker were my digital solace during the tyrannical COVID era and I am still a regular reader of Brownstone. I had swapped a couple of emails at the time with another person I greatly admire - Gigi Foster - who as an eminently sensible economist had spoken out publicly against the policies of the time. She soon joined Brownstone as a contributing author as did another fellow Australian of great sensibilities - Adam Creighton. All these people have (to paraphrase a late Grand Prix driver) big balls because boy oh boy did they cop it from the useful idiots on the left in the ugly public domain. But they were fearless. I had written to politicians and the newspapers numerous times myself denigrating the Government responses and calling for a sensible approach since even by February 2020 I had analysed the raw statistical data myself and knew that anything beyond merely exercising the usual cautions during a typical Winter flu season was massive overkill.
Anyway, if you go to the Brownstone website these days and compare the contributing authors page to what it was three years ago, it might represent what you might call exponential growth! Good on Jeffrey! A wonderful person and I will never forget the courage his daily words gave me during that ugly era.

You've sacrificed so much to speak out, Jessica. I'm so happy you're able to have these amazing experiences. Good Karma, et al.
BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks for sharing those beautiful pics of nature and Spanish architect 😊👍

Awesome 👏🏻
Wow, what a great experience . . .
You've earned every moment of respite, Jessica. What a powerhouse scientist you are.
9 hours of waiting alone in an abandoned airport is someone's idea of respite, but not really mine. but i still won't complain. except here. lol

Greetings from Vancouver Canada. The conference sounds amazing! Where were you located?

It's probably the "Intelligence" agencies who are impersonating you in an attempt discredit and harass you.
Catalunya, noice!
