Dr Boz has gone thru different fasting approaches. Coffee doesn't inhibit autophagy or spike insulin, so adding it to a water fast doesn't affect ketosis, fat loss, or autophagy. She uses the sardine diet short-term, specifically to help those starting keto to break some habits & cravings, for maybe a month or less. There are different approaches to fasting for different purposes. Some people (eg Dave Asprey) add. MCT oil and other fats to their coffee to encourage fat burning, but that is not really needed once you're in ketosis. Most people have months of body fat available. I like her channel, on of many I follow.
Have you seen the Prolon fasting mimicking? That one is interesting as they say you won't have muscle loss after a 5 day fast. Plus Dr. Longo has some published RCTs with it.
I don't think she'll backtrack. But she has stayed away from covid issues and focused on her dietary/keto and related topics as that's what her channel is about. Your article was a big red pill for her. Pill #2 was her demonetization, which I don't think she's ever experienced before. I’m an 80 yr old retired RN and I wasn’t taken in by the fake “ vaccine” . I read an article early on that described what it was supposed to do in the body to protect from the “ virus” and I knew I wanted no part of it. My husband took the two doses for Pfizer since his cardiologist and oncologist were adamant about it. Strangely he didn’t even have a local reaction to it and definitely nothing systemic so I am convinced that his batch was ineffective anyway. Neither of us have had COVID as far as we know. With all his health problems he hasnt had even a cold the last 3years. Both of us opted out of any further flu shots since 2019. He has multiple blockages in his heart and is a Leukemia survivor in remission for about 6 yrs. Sadly I have no confidence in our medical system and avoid pharmaceutical when I can and do my own research about any RX I am prescribed by physicians and decide whether I will take it or not.
I ask the many doctor’s I have seen through this terrifying nightmare of my vaccine injury, if they have other patients who are vaccine injured. Yes, is the answer. I watched him slowly come to grips with all you just wrote and how he shared the same frustration and outright dismissiveness. He is a retired electrical engineer and once he broke the surface and took his first reality based breath, he began to send me stuff he found about what's not quite right. It took months. I cannot thank you enough for what you were willing to share on the real not rare site. He lost vision because he got the run around and to some degree is still getting it but now he understands why. I requested help in my search in the comments on another sub stack and some amazing people sent me sites to look through. I read hundreds of accounts. None stood out more than yours. "The game has been played.." has never left my mind.

Thanks Jess. I have watched quite a lot of Dr Boz's videos... she is a good person and goes outside the narrative on diet. She has helped so many people recover from the disastrous western diabetes inducing diet narrative. I think she is very upset with herself that it took her this long to realise what was going on. You can't fight every battle and she was already involved in fighting a big one. I have great respect for her.
