Combined with the changes at regulatory agencies like TGA/FDA, to the registering parameters- it was like the freaking wild west! But I deviate slightly on your theory. Reality is 23&Me and the multitude of other DNA private companies, have had a lot of DNA information floating in the ether, for quite a while now, which has all been sold multiple times over. So I doubt it was a DNA dump exercise. If anything, I think it was more a refinement tool, training tool and possibly a hunting tool. For what? Who really knows, but it certainly wasn't for SARSCov2!ππ€¨

"...the long DNA is cut into shorter segments of specific lengths using sound waves....".
