I must say I really like your style of writing. Even with a fact-laden and quite serious subject matter you manage to maintain a sprightly tone and pace without diluting the severity of the subject.

Had tinnitus for twenty years. Then I retired from teaching and moved into the deep woods (pop. density in my region is under 1 person/square kilometer). No tinnitus. No migraines. No grinding my teeth in my sleep. No tics. No PTSD-related beviour. No stress. No overweight either - doing almost all chores manually took care of that in six months. From 105 kilos to 85 kilos (I'm over six feet tall).

Last check up was "disgustingly healthy" as my doctor joked. Officially she must push me to get the shot(s) - tacitly she's all but said "Don't! You do not need them!".

Speaking of psyche, a possible angle is to look for reports from institutions, special needs housing, and the like. People with different psychological a/o neurological conditions might have different reactions.
