Jessica, living in Ottawa I've been to the 'coalface', and in the few hours I've spent on Wellington St. I saw a Canada I have not seen since March 2020. Unacceptable unmasked people looking each other in the eyes, smiling at and greeting each other, talking to each other at non-social distance, and thanking and shaking hands with the truckers. The old considerate and peaceful Canada lives under the garotte of propaganda and will return despite the efforts of the political and medical knaves and villains who seized control two years ago. Besides donating to the convoy fundraiser (now closed), is there a way to buy coffees or anything for the people who have traveled there to support the truckers? Any coffee shop I could call to "pay it forward' to, since I can't be there?

Sadly, the lorry drivers I know are all boosted and diligently wear their masks and seem to have little interest in anything beyond going to work, eating, drinking, and watching the TV. What is even more galling, is that they are ex-military. Sad AF.

There have been massive demos against here, not reported. I have seen nurses throwing their uniforms at 10 Downing Street and people being beaten and manhandled around the country. Try to tie this in with "Russian influence", or Putin!

Please pray this peaceful protest continues. Things could get ugly if the Ottawans get tired of the noise. I feel for them but the message has to get through: we the people will no longer tolerate murder, abuse etc.
