Boom! This is no time for restraining one’s invective. ‘Polite’ company is not worthy of such consideration. These are the people who’ve brought us here.
You can travel to Canada, Jessica, but once you arrive if you are not injected with these products, you will be forced to quarantine and take several tests during that time with a nurse watching you on Face-time or some other electronic spyware.
You will then send back the test kit in a hazardous waste envelope to be picked up by a courier. (Imagine the wasted taxpayer $$.)
You will get multiple phone calls from authorities or even the police at your door to verify that you are home. You will have to prove that someone will bring you groceries, etc.
My friends, a couple not 'fully' shot up - they stopped at one dose a year ago - just went through this after driving to Maryland to spend time with his 96-year-old mum, who they had not seen in two years. They cheated: one went out to hike while the other would stay home to say, 'oh, we are here, but he's in the shower right now.'
that is beyond insane. and to think that some fellow 'citizens' actually agree with the nonsense. I can't comprehend what we will be forced into when the force the bird flu on us, later this year.
The best is to drive back to Canada between midnight and 3:00 am. The immigration officers have no authority to stop you to come back to Canada. The vaccine mandates are not part of their duties. Usually they need to call the Public Health Canada officer who has the authority to mandate the quarantaine and the tests or to fine you in case you do not comply. So the immigration officer either calls the health officer who does not answer the phone in the middle of the night (remember he is a civil servant) or he decides to not call the health officer and asks you to do it yourself the next day and let you go.
Trust me it does work 3 times out of 5. On the US side you have the same probability as on the Canadian side. The worst it can happen is to be sent back across the bridge to Canada and because you did not enter the US, the Canadians consider you are not a Covid risk.
Be as impolite as you wish, as long as you have the facts! It’s the impolite feckless fact-less I worry about.

I called the Canadian embassy 3 months ago to ask questions about travel. The person on the phone had no answers to my travel queries and sounded completely discombobulated. A real concern would be how to falsify our cat's records! (She doesn't need any more "product").

So, are you saying that 1) the injected don’t actually have a shorter period of shedding than the uninjected on any given infection, or 2) because the injected get ill multiple times, they shed for longer than the uninjected, or 3) both?
My sister in law came back from Florida - and was supposed to quarantine (though she was vaxed). She just didn't answer her phone when they called. That was the end of it.
