Positively Paying It Forward's avatar

If they'd only pay us for NOT watching television, then I think things would start to improve everywhere.

We should be also compensated for turning off all propaganda.

Then we could start getting along together, like we did at one time or another.

Jesus gave His life for me, so I gave my life to Him. He owns me: body, mind and soul. I love that I get to talk to Him silently and nobody else hears our loving conversation. This is the most profound and eternal form of ownership. All the other idiots in the world might aspire to own us, but there's no comparison. This brings me some peace in this crazy world.

Sarah, the world, its dizzy denizens, the dementry of political poltroons, the entities of evil, the corrupt agencies of assininity, and the gong show of life here in CanCUCKIstan, wallows in the gutters of religious apostasy. This is the reality of life in a world run amok.

You speak of Jesus and He is real, and "there is nothing new under the sun." But in all this, there is a reality that beggars description known as woman who I oft consider was created by Heaven but destroyed by man. In His most beautiful and precious creation, exists the ability of the fairer gender in concert with God to enable and create life. At the moment of conception, God imparts to her child a spirit, and life begins again.

There is no other more important temporal function than that nor anything of more effusive beauty than to regard the birth by woman at the moment the doctor lays the child on her breast and she sees for the very first time the child she carried for nine months and a radiant but immeasurable affection effuses her face when she looks at her child for the first time.

This is the eighth wonder of the world but now I sit back to wonder who does this child belong to? The mother, the father, God, or the corrupt state that has legalized the termination of any child by fake laws that legalized aborticide here under Pee Error Turdo in 1969. But that was not enough for the same evil people are pushing for MAID to be imposed on innocent babies by fools upon which the wrath of God abides forever. It has happened already and is yet more proof that the last days are here.

Each child belongs to God, and it is the duty of his/her parents to raise that child to grow into an adult that will do right, and thus glorify God, his/her Creator.

Those here who know me well realize I trend to quote atheists. One of my favorite is Oscar Wilde. He said, "All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That is his."

In my case the opposite is true. The greatest influence in my life was my mother who passed down to me an immense and intense hatred of injustice but especially that imposed on innocent people by the corrupt police here in CanCUCKistan. She was not kindly predisposed towards them and for good reason.

To be sure, and deviating from the topic, the USA is the greatest nation on the face of this wretched planet. Their different law enforcement agencies in my interactions with same have been nothing but amenable and logical. Not so with the Keystone Cops here vis a vis the OPP, the TPS, and the OPS. My malamute would not urinate on the best part of these syncophantic sops.

I would differ only by saying "This is the first wonder of the world."

It is an interesting and thought provoking analysis. But the truth has always been that you own what you can keep. You keep what you are prepared to do violence to protect. That includes a home, your chastity, your business, your possessions. It matters that people have systems that sort of work and adopt names for themselves that they prefer. It matters that some people think they ought to pay a licence fee to hunt, to fish, to cut wood, to drive their own car, to do all manner of things. But the truth has always been, you don't have to have any of those licence documents. God made the animals and the fish and the woods and everything belongs to God. You can pretend that the letters they send matter, but they really don't matter, at all. And one of the things that often works is to move and leave no forwarding address. The people who live there after you leave? They'll get all those letters and ignore them for you. Less work. Follow me for more tips on how to do fewer things that don't matter to help people you don't like run things in ways you wouldn't want.

I follow MOST rules but some you just have to ignore, you are correct.

Example: Once I bought a timeshare, the company went bankrupt and the people sucked up into ownership, me being one, decided to buy it out and charge the same maintenance fees every year. I stopped using the system, stopped going every year, stopped "exchanging" and finally stopped paying into the system with the yearly maintenance fee. I tried to sell my unit; no one would even take it for FREE. The organization did not want it back for FREE. I stopped paying and now they are trying to scare me with bill collectors.

I will ignore them and never pay the back years fees. It will cost them much more to sue me to get them; even after some summary judgement I will not pay.

I am willing to call their bluff but MOST people won't. It IS hard to conclude to do so -- in your mind, psychologically.

Jim Davidson's avatar

Yes, I understand. People want to believe that they understand things, that the policies are benevolent, that they ought to participate constructively, that it will all work out somehow. That may once have been true, but it hasn’t been for some years. And, in any event, you have to think critically at all times. Becoming complacent is a danger to you and those around you.

I am experienced with the difficulties of judgement enforcement. The only thing about this sort of matter with which to be careful, for your situation, is not to get the judgement attached to anything you care about. Property in your name, for example. Not owning anything in my own name has become second nature to me since 1993. One time I was able to have some friends enforce a judgement against a company that had borrowed money from another company I had been involved in. The borrowers decided they wanted to go public, so we made that result in a settlement, by them, in cash. Unfortunately to get that far we had to take their company into receivership, so the court appointed receiver got 25%. But we did get some of our money back. Judgements are notoriously hard to enforce in this country.

I can understand that people not resident in the UK, find the concept of having to pay for an annual licence to watch TV, view the whole process as ridiculous...

It's an archaic system, and has been preserved long past obsolescence...I would not watch BBC TV, of the type requiring a licence, IF I WERE PAID TO DO SO..!

Lori's avatar

Exactly. I thought this was a fake story about the tv at first. The UK is certifiably nuts at this point. They best get their act together or they will be on prayer mats soon.

Neil Pryke's avatar

Spot on..! Thank you..!

This is just one more step to you will own nothing and be happy

I have a TV, but I don’t have Internet cable to the TV. I watch reruns all the time when I’m bored some DVD classics Sherlock Holmes and one of my all-time favorites the avengers from the 60s with the beautiful Diana Riggs , now after saying all that what I do watch as many podcasts And that’s where I get my information from I dissect it watch it over and over again try to learn things that are a little beyond my reach , so I do it repeatedly I watch them until I get the idea from people like Dr. Jessica Rose, Dr. James Lyons Wheiler and of course Dr Gary Null eventually they’ll come after the podcast and charge first anomaly fee and then more of an uncomfortable fee just another way to control information

bb Comet's avatar

The BBC is funded by the TV license fee. And funding is decreasing as people turn to alternatives. My little aunt who can barely afford the last of her days in the UK worried about not being able to pay her “license”. She is poor but doesn’t qualify for the free license.

Just a thought; you might like watching/ listening to Kelly Boesch’s AI music videos…. Please try a couple

They are a great distraction from reality…. Fun and it’s another brain in overdrive

In this regard, Americans are the luckiest people on the planet because we believe that we have certain “inalienable rights granted from God“ which the government cannot take away, hard as they may try.

As far as names, I found out when I turned 65 that if I wanted to take advantage of Medicare that I had to use my first name on all documents, even though I had not been using it for 40 years!

In this regard, Americans are the luckiest people on the planet.... for sure.

in Italy them did more or less the same, Govern (RAI) to avoid problematics and litterally you shift not from to pay it them charged the annual tariff for the "rights" to see tv divided each month adeed within into the Energy bills. Them often send letters claiming you have to pay the RAI rights, or You have to send one anualy letter confirming with the statement you don't have one tv. Fascist Capitalism(rights wins), often, as well as neoliberists or fake leftists parties, have so many diverse faces. Don't know how finished, when I been living in Italy thrown my tv by the window in the "cortile", however them insist cuz said even if you have not tv you could see it in the network from some websites on one browser.., them said will send inspections.., many times tnem continue to send the green letters..intimating to pay.

I thrown any of its. I had not tv, will not pay any "cannone" for some thing that I had not and do not see. Governments are rising the fascist stick each year.

Fortunately, I do not live in GB.

We have a TV. It is still plugged in the wall (AC) but we do not turn it on, because nothing useful lives in it.

No cable either, because, WHY?

Hi Jessica. I am a member of the CCCA and saw you speak on a Round Table Zoom meeting. I am also a Canadian philosopher who published (Kindle, Kobo, Apple Books) a book on consciousness early this year. The MINDVERSE Hypothesis, An Unexplored Investigation of Creation, Reality & Mind, offers a purely metaphysical perspective on those topics with consciousness as fundamental. Ontology is the study of being, and the ideas of six other ontological philosophers are reviewed and compared with MINDVERSE. Any reader or student who wonders about consciousness will find this book and interesting overview on some of the greatest ontological thinkers in history.

As a Libertarian, I also regret the loss of property rights. Our three core principles are:

1. Defence of the individual person - body, mind and efforts - and the property they create.

2. Non-Aggression Principle - do no intentional harm against #1.

3. Freedom in Informed Choice provided that #1 and #2 are respected.

By the above principles, it is clear that all governments are the most significant violators. This is why we promote the following idea:

The #1 PROBLEM IN CANADA TODAY IS TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT.

Be well. I hope to see you on a CCCA RT again someday.

"It cannot be bought, governed, or truly taken - only distracted, suppressed, or clouded.

And boy-oh-boy, is consciousness ever distracted, suppressed and clouded."

We own, or are, our energy. Our fullness of being is when we're strong and healthy: our energy is there. We can frame this in religious terms if we want.

In the realm of vast conspiracy I think it's plausible that they want to check and control our energy. "They" are the elite and unimaginably wealthy oligarchs who rule in the shadows, who have controlled the money supply for centuries. Even if this conspiracy isn't true, we should act as if it might be and ask why are we being persuaded to put up with toxins in so many forms, with so many vaccines, with so many things that diminish the one essential property that we own, which is our own bodies?

"They" don't want strong, healthy bodies that can think and act to challenge them. This is why they're out to crush honest, good doctors, for example, who are telling us the truth about our health.

These ideas haven't trickled down to the person-in-the-street, distracted by programs coming through their screens. Perhaps we can finesse this awareness through gentle engagement on those screens before censorship of "dangerous misinformation" becomes complete.

philipat's avatar

Agreed Jess. And on top of all this:

You can't BUY and OWN music or software any longer . It's all SaaS with an emphasis on subscription models which locks in the consumer and creates recurring revenues.

Do you even actually OWN a "Freehold" property? Annual property taxes can be quite onerous (especially in Blue jurisdictions). That amounts to actually renting the property from the Government? If you wish to test that try not paying the tax and see what happens? I rest my case.

Yes Jessica! Bravo!

Reading your thoughts this morning might just be the only good thing this “dopamine-hit brain rotting device” delivers today.

Have a great day!
