My first YouTube censorship experience

This flies in the face of Patrick Bet David's theory about why it happens.

I woke up this morning to my first YouTube video censorship notice. I wondered to myself, how come it took them so long to take down one of my videos? I say everything, all the time. Patrick Bet David theorized that YouTube censors videos according to number of views: special keyword + high # → chopping block. I had agreed that his theory seemed plausible, until now. Big fan, by the way.

I signed into to my YouTube channel and to my shock, they removed the video I made yesterday for my colleague Shabnam Palesa Mohamed as part of an educational lecture I will be giving soon as part of the World Council for Health. It’s just, gone. Like some algorithm or keyword search designed by a psychotic tyrant just found ‘a’ keyword and decided, without telling me, to erase MY CONTENT. That was mine you assholes! Who are you to erase it? A platform? What’s your purpose for existing if not to allow people to share their content, platform?

It’s so crazy to me. I mean, I get that you have to disallow some content provided, but to me, that content would include videos with violence, for example. My video was not even violently rad. It was boring, to be honest.

I am going to use this as an opportunity in the following ways:

1. writing this article and hopefully bringing even more awareness to the massive problem of censorship

2. plugging my YouTube channel

3. plugging my Rumble - which will inevitably become more used by me (or maybe Odysee) - let’s see

My YouTube channel is a place where you can see many educational videos on everything virus, and also updates on VAERS data analyses. I upload presentations that I give sometimes, as well. I also have some surfing videos on there. And videos of my cat.

So what let’s review the content that violated their guidelines.

I violated their policy with ‘Medical misinformation’? Pardon? And by the way YouTube, the only ‘authority’ in my world is ME.

Censoring this particular video makes no sense to me. It is was purely educational: an explanation of how I calculated the Under Reporting Factor (URF). I do add something about causation using the PRR, but still. Not controversial. Some things do cause other things. It happens. You can watch it on Rumble here. This is NOT a controversial subject matter. Even the CDC admits to under reporting in VAERS so, what’s the number?

VAERS is a passive surveillance reporting system and is subject to reporting biases and underreporting.¹

Let’s calculate it! Oh wait. We’re not allowed. It’s too medical.

There is an option to appeal, so I am going to try. Why not right? Just to see what happens, if nothing else.

I think that this flies in the face of logic; not just Patrick’s theory. I mean, it’s not like I would prefer my other videos to be censored - I would actually prefer that none of my videos were censored - but being a person of logical mind, I cannot wrap my head around this. I suppose it’s just the beginning.

It’s a real shame because people like my videos and respond to them. I am qualified to speak on everything related to viruses, epidemics, modeling, health and fitness, etc… so I do and I love that some of my work has helped in people’s understanding of things that can be complicated.

I want to conclude this article with levity.

You know in that song by The Ronettes ‘Be My Baby’? It’s a song that appears in the soundtrack of Dirty Dancing. Ring a bell? By the way, the link attached is from YouTube - as a dig. There’s a line in this song that goes like this:

For every kiss you give me, I'll give you three.

So censors, for every censorship experience you give me, I’ll give you 3 more reasons to censor me.
