Jessica, I knew you to be an extraordinary woman, scientist, surfer, truth seeker, adventurer, explorer, lover of humanity, etc,. But I had no idea you could Rap with the best of them!

Thank you for your great courage, clarity, charity, commitment, and sacrifice.

Where is Tiffany Dover? Did she take Moderna or Pfizer? Jessica, have you ever surfed with Tulsi?

Maybe you and Tulsi should have a weekly TV show where you surf and chat. It would be a huge hit.

YEAH !!! 👍👍👍

Bring Flipper too ... THAT would be GREAT !!!

Now you got me curious as my mother received the Moderna bivalent in November 2022 and had a pretty serious AE involving severe vertigo which prevented her from driving or working for more than a month. It involved a trip to the ER and multiple trips to ENT and physical therapy to help her relearn how to balance. She STILL has episodes but is not letting it hold her back as she is currently in Italy on a long wanted trip. I'm going to look up her lot number on Monday and report back...she lives in Texas BTW. Should be interesting. I did report it to VAERS of course as I figured that her doctor probably did not. It did finally convince her that I was right that she shouldn't have gotten them to start with but that is a different tale. At least she isn't getting them any more....that I know about.

Wow.

I am heartened your mother recovered enough to travel (TY, G_D ~). "Mild" vertigo is devastating, and your mother had severe!

Your report will be interesting, indeed.

"It is worth nothing that many of these later lots are the bivalent shit and were injected as 4th doses and higher, so one might think that the cumulative 'toxicity' effect would result in higher SAE reporting, not lower."

I have a different hypothesis which would explain this, and this type of... 'fallacy', shall we say, doesn't have a proper name. I call it the 'shadow effect'.

Lets say you take a Drug Version 1 and experience lung damage. You can easily attribute the lung damage to Drug Version 1 because it is the only one you took. But say you took Drug Version 2 which also causes lung damage - how does the casual observer (with no professional tools) differentiate lung damage caused by Drug Version 1 from lung damage caused by Drug Version 2?

A patient and doctor would see no reason to report lung damage *again* because from their perspective it isn't a new event - it is overshadowed by the original causation of the first drug. They will just attribute it to Drug Version 1 worsening, not Drug Version 2.

We also have another type of reporting fallacy - a self-selection and reporting bias. So those who recognise Drug Version 1 as harmful will avoid getting Drug Version 2. But those who naively think Drug Version 1 did not cause their injuries (and thus did not report them the first time), will go on and get Drug Version 2 and *still not report them*. The end result is all the vocal critics who report Drug Version 1 have removed themselves from the reporting set of Drug Version 2.

So we have two reporting fallacies here:

1) Drug V1 doing the initial damage and being seen as the original perpetrator overshadowing Drug V2

2) Drug V1 critics/victims removing themselves from the reporting pool and avoiding Drug V2, thus meaning even less critical reports about Drug V2

I bet if you dig further you will find that 052D22A was most likely either a forcefully mandated lot (E.G. a workplace with compulsory get-fired rules) which forces the critics/victims into taking the batch, or it's from a clinical trial of some sort where reporting is at least mandated or required to some degree.

Terminal font looks intentional

Have you considered a reduction in SAE especially in latter batches could be due to the already susceptible patients having died already or injured badly enough to avoid any more boosters thus influencing total number of SAE expected in later batches?

or is that not a factor ? if batch #'s and uptake + SAE reported are all standardized with regards to number of people they were distributed to.?

yes. and thanks for the tidbit on terminal font...

I’m now wondering if the 810,800 were lethal after the first jab. Meaning instant death!

Expand full comment

i don't think that is the lot size: i think the lot size is the 24,900. something feels wrong about that pdf - like it was an after-thought buried with an earlier date

Expand full comment

HOLY TOLEDO! PDF files? I am glad this anomaly has been resolved yet this results in even more questions.

weirder and weirder

I know some of the related lots did not meet specifications yet nothing is seen on VAERS. And yet for the last 40yrs, visible particles were a known and present danger and always rejected. But that was in the Before Times.

I guess I need to go back to the drawing board.

PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Turning 50 was great. Wishing you a great many more!

Expand full comment

but that's just it: it's so NOT resolved at all. i still think the smaller lot size is the correct one. that pdf file looks very odd to me

Expand full comment

Ahhhh. My apologies. Yes it does look weird.

I can tell you none of those batches in the FDA letter nor lot 052D22A were authorized for distribution in Canada

Expand full comment

Those batches sure make one wonder - there should be a pattern explanation somewhere, otherwise the experiment could not be read at the end of the day. Or was it all just made in a rush and so had to be covered up when found a bit itchy?

yup

Disappointed to learn that Craig Paardekooper's howbadismybatch.com isn't as up-to-date as you are on these two batches, Jess. I might have to get down and dirty and learn how to surf the VAERS database myself one of these days.

He Has 29 AE's listed for the 052D22A:

Only one was a hospitalization. I was simply questioning how I should respond to this question you asked in your piece (an excellent one, I have to add):

"I think that no one took them and that explains the lower rate but then again, what about 052D22A? This is small bivalent Moderna lot with only 24,900 doses, 183 reported AEs to VAERS of which 40 are SAEs. That's a 22% SAE rate as per total AEs. What do you think?"

Jessica thanks for all the work you do! My spouse says she doesn't know the lot and batch numbers, is this something that the local health department keeps on file if they got shots from local health department, are they required by law to keep this information??

i don't think they are

I'd say that lining up for shots that you don't have a completed list of ingredients, a safety/detail information packet included IS where ppl need to reflect on.
