It's great that she makes spelling mustakes. It shows that she's not some Hitlerian perfectionist. Trump makes spelling mistakes regularly because he's a genius. Hillary, Fauci and Walensky would have rarely made spelling mistakes because they're never wrong.
Classic dyslexia. Just sayin. Probably wouldn't bat an eye at La6a9o, too. If she is, I dare you to not see all the symbols so easily and still be as brilliant and coherent.
I know she's brilliant, and I'm a great admirer. It's just that as a retired copy editor I can't help seeing these things. Many Substack writers, including scientists and academics whose work I appreciate, write so badly it's sometimes hard to grasp what they're saying.
Fair enough. That's a fine gift of sight. A surname is a reasonable correction. Watch for tells with those eagle eyes - reversals, difficulty with symbols that are mirror image, letters out of sequence. Be gentle, and let the little stuff slide.
Jessica, I think Mr Ladapo would appreciate it if you started spelling his name consistently and correctly, i.e. not as "Lapado".
thank you! i hadn't noticed that moment of dyslexia
No, thank you! I was afraid you might be offended.
This mnemonic for Ladapo helps me:
He's a lad (male)
not a lap (dog of Pharma)
Dr. Ladapo's probably used to it by now.
That doesn't matter. She should spell it correctly or risk not being taken seriously. Spelling matters.

Trump makes a lot of spelling mistakes. Geniuses tend to. They're messy, swear a lot and are not very punctual. Einstein was a classic.
