I didn't have the cotton swab shoved up my nose either. Agreed on keeping the psychos away. Unfortunately, a lot of us had already willingly given our dna via things like ancestry.com. They even exist for pets. Also, we give our blood willingly either when donating blood or getting it drawn for lab services. Sometimes those labs are saliva, hair, tissue samples, etc. I am not a scientist, but my guess is dna is obtainable from all these sources. So, I think they have access to our dna via multiple avenues, unfortunately.
You're probably right.
Pshaw ... I have not had my blood taken for more than a decade. Last time my doctor friend did the job, something went wrong on the way to the lab and the specimen was nixed. They will have to prize the next sample from my cold, dead veins.
