Hi, Jessica. My fully functional, independent 75-year-old mother briefly lost control of her legs and collapsed a few hours after her first dose of Pfizer. She never got a second dose. About six months later, she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage (ICU for 5 days, long recovery), which the neurologist attributed to high blood pressure. Her veins hurt when she presses them on her hands or legs, but the vein doctor is not concerned. She does have longstanding vascular issues (varicose veins, poor circulation) and high blood pressure, so no medical professional is considering whether the vaccine might have contributed to her brain bleed. If you are looking for conditions to research in VAERS, I would appreciate intracerebral hemorrhage/brain bleeds. Thank you!

Dr. Malone said he had very high BP after taking Moderna, and it was a miracle he did not have a stroke. A family member, 74, had the same reaction and suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. Thankfully, it was "minor;" that is, he maintained his independence post-stroke and is cognitively intact, but he does search for words. At first we thought it was due to him being under an immense amount of stress due to his wife's dementia, but now many of us think the shot was a major contributor.
