"Bach holds that consciousness is software that can be copied." Seriously? This only shows how technocrats and scientists have fully bought into the literalism of the metaphor of "man as machine," which is, at best, a flawed and imperfect analogy. It is atheistic materialism at its dumbest. Added to which, a couple salient points too often left out of the transhumanism discussion (where there is any discussion at all):

1) the human body's natural propensity to mount an immune reaction against any foreign entity, from virus scale to inserted tech; SEE: the Neuralink test results on lab monkeys requiring them to be put down due to various horrific reactions to the insertion of brain chips; and,

2) what Vandana Shiva has said about the use of CRISPR in genetic engineering in her book Oneness vs. the One Percent: that alterations to genes frequently result in "off-target effects" and are thus unpredictable and highly unstable.

As James LeFanu wrote in The Rise and Fall of Modern Medicine, already by the end of the 1990s it was known that the concept of genetic "cures" for disease was a failure, a pipe dream. But of course, the materialist, linear logic of today's scientists makes these facts nearly impossible to accept, so they press on, regardless of the carnage they create in lab animals or elsewhere, as with the Covid-19 mRNA "vaccine" debacle.

This is what happens when you exile God from the equation: you get "useful idiots" like Yuval Harari claiming that science has "proven" there's no such thing as a soul. You get bogus science that doubles down on failure and moral vacuousness regardless of the human costs. What will save us from such monsters?

Aegeandreams's avatar

Bottom Line: AI, Cyborgs, Robots, whatevers are an affront to God who gives all consciousness and our sentience. Cyborgs/Robots/Whatevers are machines, period.

For me, I am sticking with God. Nothing good happens when you think you are a god or can do better than what God has created. These tech bros are obviously atheists. The world would be better if all those mentioned in this article dropped dead. They are the outcasts, the viles, some of the worst to exist. Their non-existence and all those like them ensures our futures until we come to the end times per the Lord.

p.s. and I hope the monkeys turn on them one day and hunt down all that hurt them in those horrific experiments.

Jessica Rose's avatar

Push back. What if God is an entity that was already built? I don't believe this, I am simply asking a logical question. BTW.

Aegeandreams's avatar

God is All and always has existed, not built. You can ask Him directly when you see Him in Heaven. He is the only one that knows all from the beginning to the end of time.

What is heaven? How do you know these holy moments of our lives/existence is not heaven?

..."This is what happens when you exile God from the equation" 100% spot on!! And if anyone starts to profile the personalities of the top 0.01%, they'll find their #1 number charactor trait is they reject God. Most of this group probably believe God exists, but just choose to reject him while desiring to deify themselves so they can celebrate their sin. This is similar to what happened during the time of Babylon. The other trait they all share, in one form or another, is to molest or rape. And here I'll say It's not their trait originally, rather they absorbed this ugly desire from aligning themselves with the evil one. Now enter nanotechnology.....rape of the highest order. Btw, I've always called the Covid-19 vaccines "Genetic Molestation Shots". I truly believe they will accomplish amazing things with nanotech, but that's how many people will get sucked in. Recall during this year's WEF interviews where Elon was asked if living forever will be possible? I think they may figure that out. On a side note, If one looks into Genesis, it appears that human life got knocked down tenfold over 4/5 generations; a dominant/terminating gene altercation. All this evil is so painfully obvious for those who desire to do right by God, who fear him and want to follow Christ. But for those who reject God, I don't know what to say, except God help them.

Ah, the perennial dream of immortality! Humans have reached for it since the most ancient times, only to have Nature repeatedly prove to them it's beyond our scope. This is what the classic Greek myths and even earlier—the Epic of Gilgamesh from ancient Sumeria—were trying to teach us. Gilgamesh, King of Uruk, sets off on a journey to find the survivor of the great flood, Utnapishtim (the basis for the Bible's Noah), and learn the secret of his longevity. But while asleep, a snake snatches the plant said to grant immortality and disappears with it. After all that pain and agony Gilgamesh suffered during his trek, he has to go back home to Uruk empty-handed. The gods are saying to him: "Immortality is not for you. Learn to live with that knowledge, accept it." The problem today is that our technocratic "elites" are so narrowly educated in materialistic science, to the exclusion of the humanities and literature in particular, they didn't get the memo from 5,000 years ago.

MSB's avatar

Excellent point. Love your ending, "they didn't get the memo from 5,000 years ago" :). The same obsession with immortality can be found in ancient Chinese and Indian texts as well (but you probably may be aware of that already).

Sean Arthur Joyce's avatar

Yes, Carl Jung would likely have called the obsession with immortality an "archetypal impulse," meaning it can be found in all cultures as part of the architecture of consciousness. This is what makes classical Greece so fascinating. On the one hand they had myths such as Icarus, warning mortals not to lust after immortality. On the other, their philosophers discussed the immortality of the soul (not the body).

This is it. Is not about atheism, it's about thinking one is higher or better than the Supreme Almighty God. Satan wasn't cast out due to disbelief but for pride and rebellion. God will not be mocked. They will experience the full consequences of their satanic endeavour.

Thank you so much, sir. You've so perfectly verbalised all the feelings I was having that I hadn't yet been able to concretise. Appreciate the additional info and insights you provided. It led me to think that people who think they're super smart aren't really smart at all.

Sean Arthur Joyce's avatar

This is why it's so important to be constantly reading books. They provide granular detail that can never be covered in a podcast or YouTube video. Plus, they have to go through a much better vetting (editing) process before they ever hit the press, so in general, the information is more reliable than what's on the internet. Very wealthy people, it seems to me, believe that they deserve to live forever, without all the mess of actually aging. And they also, I think, believe that they are in a class above ordinary, poorer, folks, and thus those folks can be utilized as tools, as things. So nothing is off the table, and there are people lining up to service them, for a piece of that money. Cynical view, sorry, but that seems to be the case.

Artificial intelligence is not intelligence per se, it is just programs written by people with an agenda, for other people with agendas. It will not be used as anything but a weapon, eventually.

As far as aliens among us, sure, why not. And I find it odd that some say oh, we are too corrupt and dangerous for aliens to even want to be here. Aliens can be just as corrupt and dangerous, methinks. And the world's governments, of course, may have just decided to invent some aliens. Just think how very useful that would be. If the CIA had been plotting to project giant religious figures on to Cuban skies many years ago, who knows what they have been thinking up since then. Right now, if I saw anything like that, my first assumption would be government bullshit.

Aegeandreams's avatar

If true aliens exist, which I personally believe they do, I believe God made them but for what reason I do not know. I will default that they are not meant to harm us or they already would have taken us out.

I do believe I agree with that. Thank you for your reply.

Amazing Jessica, thanks.

You asked the profound question, what if consciousness is simply the result of breathing.

The ancient science of Shabda Brahma is based on that question. It has been pondered over by the Rishis of old.

The entire system of Mantra of using sound, unstuck sound to discover what we are at our core, not surface name and form, using the sounds generated by the breath as it passes through this form.

You are a modern day Yogini in a humble and wise form.

I find it amusing that everyone thinks the mind and consciousness all reside in the brain. It most certainly does not so when they map and transfer all that stuff from the brain to a robot….something will be missing. Organ transplant folks can testify to this. Any decent energy worker or meditation practitioner can. Heck, my recently damaged knee sends me emotional output separate from pain signals. We don’t have the “what is consciousness” part down at all. And certainly not where it is.

Just a Clinician's avatar

In my opinion, the mind resides within the soul.

Clearly, there is a link to brain; no one has yet localized it.

ForestDi56's avatar

Agreed. We do feel the localized thinking area in the head. But we have consciousness in our entire Beingness - body, biofield, and certainly our Souls at the heart of it all.

Yes, thank you, super excellent point again reminding of their mechanistic views of everything.

It’s Time To Reopen The Franklin Child Prostitution Case After Epstein Revelations, Brandon Smith

The revelations of the “Lolita Express” and the flights to Little Saint James Island are nothing compared to what we now find in the millions of documents released in the past month. Hints of rape, torture, possible murder, and even cannibalism are present in the coded (and not so coded) language of Epstein’s emails. And, if the revelations of “Pizzagate” and the John Podesta emails are correct, then many of the horrors committed on Epstein’s Island involved young children.

As I noted in my last article, Epstein’s private emails contain coded references to “pizza” (an FBI confirmed code used by pedophiles to describe young boys) over 900 times. Oddly, they talk about “jerky” over 380 times, including mentions of “freezing jerky”, “walking” jerky from one location to another, and getting jerky tested in a lab for “safety”.

The establishment machine is going into panic mode, once again trying to obcure the darker aspects of the Epstein files as “conspiracy theory” and “moral panic”. There is a clear attempt being made to mitigate and run damage control.

In other words, the elites are willing to give up the fight on the issue of underage sex trafficking. They know that the abuse of teens will not trigger enough outrage to get them killed by mobs of angry citizens. However, they are DESPERATE to silence any discussion on the abuse of very young children including babies. They will do anything to prevent the investigation from escalating to issues of cannibalism and occultism. https://alt-market.us/its-time-to-reopen-the-franklin-child-prostitution-case-after-epstein-revelations/

I've been following the Transhumanist movement since the early 2000s, but things changed after about 2006.

After that date I noted that Transhumanism split into two branches.

The first is what I call the "idealist" branch or Libertarian transhumanism, represented by proponents like Ray Kurzweil,

Focus: Emphasizes individual freedom and minimal government intervention.

Key Ideas: Advocates for personal choice in the use of enhancement technologies.

Notable Organizations: Extropy Institute, which promoted a proactive approach to human enhancement.

One thought school was called Extropianism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extropianism

"Originated by a set of principles developed by the philosopher Max More in The Principles of Extropy,[1] extropian thinking places strong emphasis on rational thinking and on practical optimism. "

the 2nd branch is what I term the "Progressive" Transhumanism

this was after the flood of billionaires into this space.

Focus: Addresses social equity and access to enhancement technologies.

Key Ideas: Concerned with ensuring that advancements benefit all classes and communities.

Notable Organizations: Humanity+, which emerged from the World Transhumanist Association, focusing on ethical considerations and broader societal impacts.

One prominent proponent is Yuval Noah Harari, who also happens to be a direct advisor to Klaus Schwab of the WEF.

“Useless People” - Who is Yuval Harari? Klaus Schwab's Right-Hand Man

https://youtu.be/1tnCQkQOAdQ

In their technocratic vision only the "wise" elites get the upgrades, everyone else "the useless eaters" are gradually eliminated through depopulation, especially after the implementation of AI controlled servants(robots and autonomous systems).

And yes Harari reminds me of the eugenicists of 1930s Germany.

"Some people (even me!) might want to have implants one day. Implants to help us see or walk or even to enhance our immune systems."

This is at the heart of the problem. Humans don't know who they are, what they are capable of, and what masters of the universe they can become if not interfered with. They need enhancements only from the cosmic, the SUN, the stars, good water and nutrition, and healthy environments! We are beings of light cloaked in an earth suit.

Hence we are subjected to dozens of poisonous vaccines by the time we turn 25, poisoned food, with more glysophate (a nerve agent) to come thanks to Trump's declaration this week, fluoride in our water, unnatural frequencies surrounding us from morning to night, light bulbs that do not produce full spectrum light that the incandescent bulbs did. The sun in blocked everywhere with harmful chemicals. Forget seeing the stars in most places in and outside of America. War that kills, maims, and traumatizes the collective.

So of course it seems we need to be enhanced....by design. Beings NOT of this world have spearheaded that little endeavor and it will take beings not of this world to help us get back on track

Discernment is the key!!

Aegeandreams's avatar

No enhancements for me. I leave my mind, body and Soul to my Lord.

John Day MD's avatar

All of this assumes that consciousness is secondary to wetware/hardware/software, right?

It cannot be exluded through logic or experimentation that Consciousness is primary, and all of "reality" exists within consciousness.

Jessica Rose's avatar

Not sure. I honestly don't know. There's no consensus. Consciousness as a manifestation of breathing, or, consciousness as something that enters a mushy shell? What are the conditions that the shell must satisfy to allow entry of "consciousness", if so? Animals and plants demonstrate consciousness, but they are so different from us. So what are these "prerequisites" if the latter is true? And if there is a sort of cosmic decision-making process as to what and who obtains consciousness, who controls that?

John Day MD's avatar

Consider that all of the universe exists within consciousness, not that some device exists which can generate or allow consciousness to occur.

;-)

Jessica Rose's avatar

So if consciousness is independent of us, why are we conscious?

John Day MD's avatar

We, our bodies and our consciousness, can exist within Universal Consciousness, characters in a dream in the mind of God.

I am 2 minutes in. Yes, the big bang did not produce a symmetrical universe. There is a lot to understand in physics. It is not fitting. Some things are too old, or developed way too fast. The question of irregularities in universal physics arise again.

Like everything else, we'll probably do both well and poorly

Transhumanism is an assortment of scientific, technical

and humanitarian methods and means, - traversing

various paths - to meet goals.

. ..

The only commonalities are that they're comprised of both

human tissue and non-haman materials; or that one or the other

is modified to gain capabiity, behavior, endurance etc.

.

What traverses a path, and what goals are met, is determined by the access, abilities and

motives of human creators and/or the products they spawn.

.

Unless, who knows, maybe space aliens will "grab the steering wheel" from us! 🤔

The interesting part about that is ... well, I'll tell you something personal. I was leaning out my window the other day thinking about the perils of humanity and my role and I looked up to the sky and asked in my head "for guidance" and immediately - like no time passed - I received a clear and strong "transmission" (it wasn't quite a voice) that said: "Do not look up - look within". It was quite comforting and I said: "OK". It got me thinking about how we all do seek guidance from without - and I think that we should - but ultimately, isn't it interesting that in this particular experience "God" of whatever it was told me that all of the answers and guidance and power in in me. And it makes me wonder if we are not all God as consciousness.

Underlying Truths's avatar

According to the King James Version, Luke 17:21, "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

Other translations rewrite this verse taking the power away from us. They want us to believe God is outside of us, and only with us when we are amongst others. But the truth is that God is inside each one of us. Religious dogma, institutions, and third party interventions on our behalf are not needed.

Just a Clinician's avatar

That's a distinct possibility, in my opinion.
